I took the one for the PN test. I found it very useful but you do have to recognize that, as a standardized test, it does have limitations. People test better on some days than others, are tired, didn't eat breakfast (or lunch), are nervous etc.
Once you get your results, use the focused review to go over the areas you were weak on. Repeatedly reviewing helps a lot. Don't neglect the other areas though. From what I understand, for the PN test, achieving a rating of 92% or higher is good. Anything below that means you'd better be in the books!

So did you already take the 2010 version? Or just the practice test? If you did take the real thing is there anyway you could email me your topics to review? I would really really appreciate it :)

Erica-did you find out any info on the ATI that you can pass along to me??

Took it. It was alright. I got an 86.7 with not a lot of study, so a 99% chance of passing first time. Kind of worrisome. I would figure the NCLEX should be harder.

Hi. I was wondering if you could email me at [email protected] I wanted to ask you how you prepared for the 2nd exam.
I also did not do good on the first one. And am taking it again within the month. And I am very discouraged. Thanks!

I can't add anything else to that comment. Sums it up perfectly for me.
I just took my ATI today. For those of you who have taken ATI comp, do make sure to review all the topics from your focus review. ATI tends to repeat lot of questions from one test to another.
The way I prepared for predicotr was by ATI practice questions which were provided by school. I got lucky this time b/c i had chance to do 2007 & 2010, there is also section in ati which provides additional 150 comprehensive question. So i did more than 600 questions practice question and took notes on stuff I missed. I also had Kaplan book which is divided into topic like management and care, psychosocial. So I compared my focus sheet percentage and started reading Kaplan book. I would reccommend that you study for it like NCLEX and not just ATI, b/c it covers everything. Don't be disappointed if you missed the first one, if you review your focus review you will make it the second time. I hope this helps!!
