ASN Program at Wiregrass Georgia Technical College

Hi. Anyone attending the ASN program at Wiregrass Georgia Tech in Valdosta? I was trying to find info. Looks like it starts in the Spring Sem? Program 2 yrs in length? Does this include the core? Application deadline? Has there been a waiting list? I didn't see a nursing application online? Is it Mon-fri class/clinicals?

I'm currently a full time LPN at a hospital.

Thanks!

Moved to School/College Programs

Hello. Thanks for your interest in Wiregrass Tech's RN program. The program does enter new students every Spring semester and entry is competitive. The are some pre-course and GPA requirements that must be met. We enter up to 40 students every Spring and have approx. 100 applicants. Today is free application day at Wiregrass if you would like to apply as a new student to the college. If you have college credits from other institutions you will want to seek transfer credit approval from us. You may begin taking courses as early as this Summer which begins May 14th if you are in need of any of the core courses. Once accepted into the program it will be 4 semesters in length, enters in January and will be completed at the end of the following May. The deadline to apply to be considered for competitive entry for Spring 2019 is August 15th, 2018. You can apply to the school on-line or call our advising center at 229-333-2117. Good luck to you in your future educational endeavors.
