Hello, I am new here and have a question. I am going on an interview for a school nursing position and would really like to wear a pant suit. It has been mentioned to me that I should wear a suit with a skirt. Any opinions on this?
Thank You

Hello, I'm new to the site too. I just got hired as a school nurse this week. I just wore casual, neat slacks and a white dress shirt. Nothing fancy. Meeting the few school nurses and school staff in the past, the atmosphere is pretty relaxed and casual.
Thanks for the reply. I am meeting with the principle of the school and the head of Special Education. This is my second interview. First was with the superintendant of the school district.......actually the director of the school nurses.

Hey good luck...I'm sitting here in brown slacks, white sweater and then I have a jacket to throw on over the top and I'm heading out to an interview in an hour for a transplant coordinator.

Ditto - a jacket and tailored slacks is very appropriate for the interview.
