Applying for SSN

Ive just passed my NCLEX, prob is with the recent development in the US economy.I think my future is a little glim... and to think of, i only have 3 years to obtain my SSN. Is there a way to obtain SSN if you live abroad?I live in the Philippines btw. Thank you in advance to those who will bother to read and reply on this :)

You can not apply for a SSN without a valid work visa for the US. There is much already written in this forum regarding SSN but basically you will have to apply to another state for licensure by exam and meet their foreign nurse requirements and arrange with BRN to move your NCLEX results across. This needs doing before your 3 years are up
