Hi all,
I am doing some pre courses to apply for RPN/ RN in the future in Ontario. I had an incident happened long ago in 2013 which shoplifting charged was dropped completely as I did diversion program from the Court, I also got pardon the same year.
Would you please give any advice if I will have any troubles to go for clinical, applying for my license and jobs in the future? I was not aware that I did not pay when leaving the shop because of my family issue back then. Please and thank you for any advice because my dream is to become a nurse in the future.

If the charges were dropped you will be fine. Background checks only show up convictions. A friend of mine had a shoplifting charge and conviction and she still became an RPN.
