when to apply to nursing school?

Hi i finish with pre-reqs this spring. i am currently taking micro and anatomy 2. but I'm curious if i should apply to nursing school for fall or sit out a semester. I have not taken the hesi or teas yet. I've been recommed to take it once I'm done with pre-reqs but since i finish this spring.... i really won't have time to make the deadlines. So does that mean i sit out a semester? FYI I am applying to FIU and UF. FIU only takes the first two tries of the teas. both schools only have fall term no spring

If you want to be a nurse, apply. Sitting out serves no purpose. Nursing school is very competitive, so apply early. My school required an interview to get accepted into nursing and no interview without passing TEAS. Many of my fellow students in prereqs ******* about not getting in but hadn't taken TEAS, so no interview, no seat.

Apply!!! :) Those two tests really aren't that hard. You can do it. It's better to be turned down the first time and have tried than not to have tried at all!

I'm not telling you it's going to be easy, I'm telling you it's going to be worth it.
