2010 application, any help would be great!!

So this is my first year applying and I would like to know if any of you who have gotten in or not to any of the CTC's have recieved a postcar/letter right after the deadline for applications, saying either your application was complete or not? When I called someone from manchester today to check on my nln scores they said they just sent out info to me in the mail...it seems wierd because i know acceptence letters wont go out till the middle of march. Im scared now its bad news...any insight??

    I called MCC last week to double check if they had everything. She said I should be recieving something in the mail to say my app was complete, even though she told me on the phone that it was.It might be a standard practice they do to send something out after the deadline saying that they have recieved everything or is missing peices. Don't know if that helps or not.

    Did you ever get your NLN results? i took mine on the 23rd and the school got them today but i still havent...i just want to know...its killing me! Is manchester your first choice? if we both got in it would be nice to have chatted with someone before hand :)! I saw in previous posts you were looking into other options incase you didn't get in, i feel the same way. What ideas did you come up with? I am taking the phlebotomy class, i figured it's a good way to get into a hospital...its hard to get into the hospitals with just an LNA. Good luck!! keep me posted :)

    I took my NLN's on the 9th and I only just got them the 30th. GBCC is my first choice, MCC is 2nd and then Concord. I live closer to GBCC then to any other school and then MCC based on their clinical sites. I'm taking an LNA class right now, even though you get it your first semester. I wanted the experience. I have thought about the phlebotomy class though.

    I just got a note from the school today saying "congatulations, your application is complete!" I called them and they said they had my nln scores from last year and this year, so even though i havent gotten my nln scores yet i think that means I atleast did 50% or better. The phlebotomy class is really great, and they offer a 3 week internship...which is basiclt a 3 week interview and if you do well and the hospital staff likes you, they will offer you a job after the 3 weeks. I'm excited for that because if i work thru nursing school as a phlebotomist in a hospital, it will be easier to get a job as an RN there, as hospitals hire within first. I hope I can make it to the end of march without going crazy!!
