Application Essay

My school requires a 2 page essay on a social/healthcare related issue. Two pages isn't much space to discuss. For those of you who've gotten in and had to write similar essays, what was your topic? I have a few ideas swimming around, but I don't want to be too political or polarizing, you know? I'm applying to a school in the South, so I want to keep that in mind. I tend to be incredibly liberal in my views, and I don't want to anger the higher ups and ruin my chances of getting accepted based on a two page paper.

    What are the ideas you're considering? It would probably be best to choose something you have personal experience with or related to why you're choosing nursing as a career.

    Most campuses and faculty are super liberal, so don't think you'll have to reign yourself in. Also, it's important to accurately reflect who you really are so that you fit in and find the program that's for you.
