Application Deadline Today

So there are two LVN programs I'm applying to this fall. One I am third on the waitlist. The other school said they only take the applications after an official transcript evaluation from the counseling office. The counseling office told me they would not get the evaluation done until after the deadline, but they finished it yesterday! So I over night FedEx'ed the application to the school and just got a notice it was delivered and signed for before the four o'clock application deadline today. I am wondering if I should go ahead and call the school to confirm it was recieved or if that would just bother them. When I called yesterday I was told there were four openings left in the program, I really want to know if my application was one of those four! However I don't want to be a pest and should just wait till they send out notices later this month.
