Application advice- terminated in 2017

I was wanting to know if I should put I was terminated on a application and if so, should I explain?
It was in 2017 when I was a PCT. It was labeled as a social media violation. I was in contact with a former patient who was an adult and her own guardian. It was a psych unit though and she was there for a suicide attempt. Her mom had recognized me in my profile picture on facebook because she seen me in the unit and called HR. The former patient was upset I got let go because she said even though she flirted with me on the unit I stayed professional. I knew it was on the line and I probably shouldn't have contacted her. I ended up not even hanging out with her because it didn't feel right being I lost my job over it.
The rationale was also because being she was there for suicide she was a vulnerable population. I understand that. I am not re-hirable  and couldn't do my clinicals at that hospital system. I was only there 7 months. It was a horrible experience and feel depressed at times if I think about. I've never been fired from a job and my coworkers valued me because I was a good team player and care for the patients. It didn't affect my CNA license because it was deemed a social media violation.
