anyone work in phys. med & rehab or w/ a physiatrist?

i would like to know if its possible to be exclusively a PM&R NP and how to go about his? any advice re: this would help? im unlcear where the experience comes to get a job in phys med & rehab, at the level of NP or during this specific medical discipline "specialty" training?

can anyone eloboarate or refer me to someone who knows this clearly. thanks.

I'm not an NP but I've worked PM&R and really enjoyed it. At one time I was thinking the same thing that you are. I would say get some work experience in that area or try to get some NP clinical time on a rehab unit/hospital.
