does anyone know how prop 200 will effect nursing?

It'll take awhile as there are court cases challenging it. Once it passes, I thought it would only effect government employees providing public services.

There was a congressional proposal #HR3722 (Undocumented Alien Emergency Room Bill) that could have required hospitals/nurses to determine patient citizenship and pass it to government officials, but that didn't get enough congressional voutes this time. Slowly but surely the SW states are getting fed up with illegal immigrant costs that the US government isn't fully reimbursing.
