Just applied to Palm bay program this month with a 3.91 GPA and 75% TEAS score but a little low on Reading .I wonder how strict they are in choosing whoever gets the slot since its limited.Im anxious and so worried about my ReAding score.I have 3 years healthcare experience though. How much do u think are my chances of getting in? Please share your opinion thanks !

Of course this is "hear-say," but, I have heard that they look at the reading scores closely. However, just from browsing this site it seems as though people with a variety of scores and points have been accepted in the past. The wait is killing me!
Thanks for the response amc87í ½í¸Š,the wait is killing me too,do u mind me asking your stats and if you have AA?i took TEAS 2 years ago at a different institution which should still be valid and I had a passing reading score on that one which I included in my application. Also I applied to both RN and LPN which I hope and pray to get into either one!
75% overall on TEAS, 88% reading. 3.62 GPA. No, I don't have an AA but I have everything done, including Chemistry, College Algebra, etc. Need two more humanities courses to get the AA. 31 points overall, would be 36, but I transferred in A&P1. Hopefully it's enough. *fingers crossed*
Your stats should be fine.I was worried if having an AA plays a big factor to get in because I didnt finish mine either.By the way good luck to us getting in!!!
Most of my friends who have completed this program didn't have their AA. They finished required classes (Stats, Chem, etc.) after nursing school and then did RN-BSN. Yes, good luck to us! :-)

The wait is killing me too!. I heard that they rank first by points then by TEAS scores. Fingers crossed for everyone!

I applied as well. 90.5 on reading and 86.7 overall on my TEAS. I don't have any healthcare experience aside from challenging the CNA licensure but never using it. I have an AA with a 3.76 GPA and my point total ended up being 34. Here's hoping we get in. Trying my best not to think about it too much but this will be a long month. Letters go out around my birthday in October so hoping I have a happy birthday, lol. Worse case scenario I try again next year for fall with a couple extra points. Not quitting, that's for sure.
I hear you. My birthday is October 5th, so, hopefully a happy outcome shortly after!

I know this is an old post but did you get accepted (if you don't mind sharing that information)? I scored in the 70s also and I am just trying to compare to see where I stand. I am applying for the Spring 2019.
