Hello, this upcoming fall I'll be starting my nursing prereqs at Southwest and am interested in attending U of M to get my BSN. I was wondering if anyone could give me any insight on how the program is? How do you all like it overall? How was the admissions process? I'd love to read about you guys experiences. :) I'm just trying to gather more information so I can see if this'll be a good fit or just stay at Southwest.

I'm not in the program now but am starting the remainder of my prerequisites at UofM this fall and going to apply for the program for fall 2016.

Hello! I'm about to be a second semester student at LSON! I've liked it so far. It's a great program and we're about to open a brand new building for the nursing school this weekend! It can be challenging, but there are some great faculty members who really care and want you to succeed. Would recommend!

Me too! I just applied to the school itself, waiting for admission before I can apply to the program.

I have applied for Fall 2016 admission to LSON. I'm patiently waiting to hear something. [emoji51]
My app is now showing under review. [emoji51]
I just got an email saying I had met the requirements. So I should be hearing something for sure soon maybe?

I am in my final semester! Woohoo! I don't have much insight on how things are on the main campus. I go to the Lambuth campus in Jackson, TN. I know one difference between the two locations is class size. There are 15 of us graduating this Spring but that is because we are the 3rd group to finish and start in Jackson. The program itself is alright. It does get stressful and there are projects and assignments but it is worth it in the end.
Has anyone heard anything?
