Any tips for RN returning to bedside

Hi all,

I will be returning to bedside nursing on a neuro med/surg unit after being out for ~7yrs. I have always worked in a hospital environment as a case manager. Hence, the hospital setting, new meds, equipment is not entirely foreign to me. However, are there any tips , new trends or anything that you guys could share that will assist in my new role???
