ANY RNFA's?

I am an independent RNFA in Ca. and have billed on my own for 6 or 7 years. Anyone out there found any ways to improve collection and reduce denials from insurance companies?

Do you perform this task in house with software or is this something that you outsource to an agency to perform?

I out source it to a biller. Some Insurance pays well, while others deny the claim even when approved for an assist.Do you work as an assistant?

Unfortunately I do not work in this field, however I would definitely do a search for this on the forum and try to connect with someone in this biz.

Also, do you feel like you aren't getting reimbursed because it isn't coded correctly, and is this a new issue or something that has been plaguing you from the start?

I don't have personal experience with this company:

but you might want to shop around a bit. In this economy, businesses should be working hard for your services. Heck they should work hard anyway, but my belief is that I put so much into my services that I expect agencies that I do business with to do the same. I am unsure of your exact situation, but it sounds like a real pain on getting reimbursed. If I come up with more I'll send it your way.
