Any ideas on looking for work?

Hi! I am a new grad RN, passed my boards in july and have put in over 200 apps from Jacksonville to Orlando and haven't even gotten 1 phone call yet. I have posted my resume everywhere, talked to nursing recruiters( they just say they are not hiring new grads), applid at nursing homes hospitals and home care. I have been a CNA for 7 years and have even tried applying for those jobs.I just moved to florida from colorado, and have no contacts out here:crying2:. I don't know where to go from here any info would be really appreciated!

I see CNA jobs on Indeed.com. If there are no RN jobs for now it might help to take a CNA job and get some local health care connections, and perhaps you would be in line for any RN jobs that open up there. Just type in the name of a city and the type of job you are looking for and you will see a bunch of listings.

Specializes in Neuro ICU, Urology and Hospice.

Try monster.com, this works pretty well. Good luck and don't give up. :wink2:
