Any current kaplan students

For all those who are current kaplan students in sacramento I want to know who the program is. I just got my interview last week and I wanted to make sure this is the right place for me. The DON told me that there is a 240 mile radius for the clinical sites! That's insane because I already live 40 miles from the school. How are the clinical sites? I read a couple of reviews and they said it sucked and all they did was fold cloths. Im not a negative person and I know each will have a different experience, but if Im going to spend that much money I want to know all I can...any help and info would be great.

    I am not a Kaplan student, but I did see a "blurb" of something about Kaplan and how they are cheating students out of tuition for bogus degree/certificates that are not recognized in the respective industry. Please do your homework!!! Make sure the program is accredited by NLNAC and that the certificate/degree is transferable to a RN program later, (even if you're not sure you want to get your RN).

    I did check and they are accredited by the BVNPT and I can take the NCLEX after the program, Im not sure if I can go to a RN program after cause that's what I wanna do, the DON said in my interview that they have a bridge program but I don't know where and probably a whole lot of money, anyone ever been through the program?

    I don't know because I never looked into going to Kaplan, but do they offer a RN bridge program? Maybe that's what they were saying that they were having a problem with? I would think, and anyone please help with this, that if the LVN class is accredited by the BVNPT and NCLEX will allow you to test, that it should be valid and transferrable to a RN certificate or degree?

    I didn't want to alarm you, I just wanted to make sure everyone has done their homework because of Kaplans problems I saw on tv.......
