Anatomy and Physiology?

Hi, I am still doing my prereq's before nursing school and will be taking my A & P's. I just wanted to know if you have any tips or hints about how to learn all of this stuff.

Thanks,

Shannon

go to the pre-nursing student forum...you will be sure to find lots of support, tips, etc. There is actually a "sticky" for those of us who are taking Anatomy this fall.

I just took A&P over the summer and was terrified before starting, but it turns out it wasn't bad at all! All memorization, make flash cards and practice practice practice your flash cards and you'll be fine. If you have to make silly little rhymes or songs(it worked for me) I got an A in the class and all it took was commiting at least an hour a day 4-5 days a week (more or less depending on ur memory;) Definitely know this for ur nurse entrance exam, i just took mine today and there is alooot of A & P, alot of people stress over the math but it is sooo basic and you get to use a calculator no algebra at all, just basic arth. add, subtract know fractions, division,% Good luck with your A&P not difficult but time consuming, invest the time and you'll get a good grade!
