One of the earlier threads had that debate. Im not sure. I know theyre nationally accredited, but not regionally accredited. There was a helpful website comparing the two, but im still left confused. Im sure if I call the school, theyll talk themselves up. Im hoping for an ASU grad who had their degree recognized by their workplace, able to shed some light for me.

i did a little research. national accredited schools will accept transcripts from regionally accredited schools but not vice versa. so if you ever decide to go back to school, you may have a hard time getting a school to accept your credits from ASU. i know you say you have no intention on returning, but just try to keep that in mind. if you wanted to even go for school nurse certification it may not accept your bachelors degree that you worked your butt off to get. i also think public health is moving to the masters degree level. there are plenty of schools out there. i believe, that are regionally accredited and just as affordable as ASU. i see a lot of nurses on here going to Ohio University, among others. do some research, but if you decide onASU. thats fine too. Im attending La Salle university. its expensive 500/credit. but its ccne and regionally accredited because i do plan on returning for my masters, if not there, its accepted everywhere. As long as your employer is ok with your degree then you should be fine. i havent heard of employers being selective of it yet, but im not sure of it either. by the way. there are A LOT of schools that are strictly online and affordable and regionally accredited. especially down south.
