Good day.. Just wanna share my story and if someone could give me advice.. Just free to comment.. I was graduated of BSN last 2006 with a license of nurse in the Philippines.. I apply for licensure examination in New york way back 2011.. I tooked my NCLEX-RN last november 2011.. Unfortunately, i failed.. In my first experience,, i didnt ask for a help because i was hesitant, if anybody will know that i tooked exam and failed.. So, The time i received my eligibility, i pay the corresponding fee to be able to get an ATT at pearsonvue without knowing it would expire for 90days only..its too late for me to realized that before paying pearsonvue, i should be prepared enough and ready enough to take the exam.. But due to ignorance of a first timer, i tooked the exam without studying and reviewing..Boom! I got 75 question on examination day.. Hahahah.. Don't laughed at me.. But before anything else, i was in KSA that time when im processing my licensure for new york.. I was working and can't file a vacation right there and then because i just got my summer holiday.. So i tried to booked a vacation nearly expiring of my ATT.. I was bit of pressured and stress to be on examination day.. I arrived at the philippines, one day before my nclex exam.. On my side, taking the nclex-rn last 2011 is an experience, so atleast if i want to take the exam again, i have already idea. Without realizing i've wasted money for that application and examination.. Lol.. So, It tooked me almost 5 years now to realized if i should take again for NCLEX-RN for NEW YORK, knowing almost my friends is alreay in the US.. I contacted the BON, and they told me, i have to pay only pearsonvue to be able to get my ATT.. But i realized, im not ready yet because again i didnt study and i didn't review.. I dont know where to start for studying..
what review materials i will use..Should i take an examination again to pursue my dreams?.. Can anybody tell me what review materials should i used?.. Maybe this time, in God's will, i will give time to study and review because how many years now since i graduated.. My brain is all rusted now.. Heheheh.. Thank you for your time. God bless everyone..!

If you're not particularly interested in taking the time to study, then I don't know what to tell you. If you are interested, then you should brush up on content using NCBSN and Hurst and you can practice questions with Kaplan and UWorld.
By this time, im interested to study to be able to passed.. Thank you so much..

Well, I didn't take my NCLEX-RN yet, but I would highly recommend Saunders for content ( if you definitely need to work on your content like me), I graduated 6 years ago and find this book very helpful because I need to polished my content, La Charity PDA is also helpful for delegations and assignments since we don't touch in delegations and assignments subjects or course in the Philippines. I have HURST (bit pricey, I got the online course which costs 300$) and yes it's great if you have a solid foundation in content, it doesn't cover a lot of things and diseases, it's like a review of what you learned in nursing school, but very brief. And last I would say that you choose a q-bank to practice and apply what you read or learned, there are few that I like, these are UWORLD, Lippincott and NCLEX Mastery app. God bless and hope you'll pass this time!
