Allnurses.com is more than......

I joined this website of nurses simply because of two reasons:

First. I am going back to nursing in the near future. This website has help me a lot regarding patient care. Lots of ideas are being shared by fellow nurses which can be used in actual situation when the time comes.

Second. I have a plan to immigrate to the US and work there as a nurse. By being in this site, I can get a feel how American nurses are dealing with the profession of nursing. On issues affecting nurses in the US.

But I have never thought that I could meet my classmate and friend on this site. Through this site I met Xigris. We were classmates in highschool ( batch 1986 ) here in the Philippines. We both entered the same school of nursing where we both earned are BSN degrees. He in 1990, while me in 1991. I enrolled first in a Biology course thats why we were not classmates in nursing.

The last time I spoke with him was in 2000 when he was on vacation here in the Philippines. I never thought that allnurses.com could be this good. I thank allnurses.com for giving me the opportunity of meeting my friend again.

I met a local person through this website too. We used to go to the same church a few years back (actually he was still attending and I had stopped). He's a super sweet nice person and I'm to have made the acquaintance and wouldn't have were it not for this website.

Lots of great cyberfriendships too. :)
