I am going to be taking the NET in April for a LPN school. Is there anyone who has taken this test who can tell me what level the algebra questions are on the test. I was told that most people fail the reading comp part, but that is the part I am most confident in! I am a little nervous about the math sections!

Hi and Welcome to AllNurses.com! :)
The NET's math portion is basic math: +, -, /, x, order of operations (Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally), ratios, fractions, %, and basic Algebra.
Yes, most people stress over the math portion thinking, "Reading test are easy."
Well, this isn't just a reading test. It tests your ability to critically think. Yes, there is main idea, but there could be several correct answers, you choose the best.
There is also questions that ask about the purpose of the author, and other questions.
I recommend the NET Study Guide from EriWorld.com (I found mine on Ebay.com).
This book is the ONLY review I have found that covers the exam EXACTLY how it is formatted.
After reading and studying from this guide, you will know what to expect.
Good luck!
