Can anyone explain to me how Alek work? I have taken the assessment and start working on my pie, I completed 3 lesson and then the assessment started over again and the lesson I completed I have to completed again. Also when do you take the quiz test? Thanks to anyone that respond.

I am finishing up my math requirement using ALEKS and it is great! Basically, you will be given an assessment every so often (I average about two per week). Once you score at least a 70% on the assessment, you then file for ACE credit. Basically, you keep working on your pie until you can score that 70% on your assessment.

I also recommend khan academy videos to help you on your way if you are having trouble with certain topics. I can't praise them or ALEKS enough.

Hi, I also did ALEKS for my Math requirement. Which one are you doing? I did the first one on the list above that is ACE accredited, Basic Algebra, and it was accepted by Excelsior. There are others (more basic) that may not be accepted, so I chose that one. There are some others that did the Intermediate Algebra. It would also be good to run it by your Excelsior Adviser.

GOOD LUCK! I finished it in a week, but spent about 32 hours total on it...
