Air Force Nursing

I am a nursing student about to enter my senior year of a BSN program. I have been seriously researching and considering becoming a Commissioned Officer for the Air Force after graduation.

Does anyone have any tips for me about the application process, how they like or dislike being a nurse for the Air Force/ being a flight nurse, or any extra information about the NRP (such as during that year, are you on lockdown or can people visit you at your base/ can you have days off?- my sister will be getting married during the time I would be there-).

Any and all information would be much appreciated! Thank you!
