The more reading this thread, the more confusing comes.....
I read so many threads that they were passed for ANMAC assessment but could not get aproval from APHRA.
As I know, if I pass ANMAC's skill assessment ,I can get PR by skilled visa(under the condition that right age range , have experience more than 3yrs and pass IELTS/OET)
How can pass ANMAC without AU nursing license?
I applied last year (now it's been 9months) and still under assessment by proffesional officer (not by noard...😢).
I was a nurse in Korea 3.5 years experience(leave hospital nearly 4 years ago...I feel like wating my time in Syd for the last 4 yrs... ) and also have nursing license of New York state.
key question is....... How they can get ANMAC result without aproval from AHPRA?

Have you also taken an English language test through ANMAC? I did my entire EN course with a woman from the Philippines who passed all her Diploma of Nursing requirements but then could not pass the English language test so she has not been approved for registration through AHPRA. Here is the link to some information you may find useful: FAQs | ANMAC | Australian Nursing & Midwifery Accreditation Council
Transferring your skills is a notoriously long process so don't give up. Perhaps acquire some personal carer work to keep you in the nursing care loop. Chin up and welcome to Australia!
I passed of OET and applied for AHPRA for registration without studying in Australia at all... I havent applied ANMAC for skill assessment as I havent got lisence yet

Hi Jinyoung,
I think APHRA will send you recommendation based on their assessment of your credentials. For us Filipino nurses they refer us to bridging program accredited by APHRA. Once we successfully finished bridging program then will be registered by APHRA.
