Aging Questions

I have an exam coming up that will have aging in it. I have no idea what kind of questions would come up. (critical speaking-wise). It all seems so cut and dry. (i.e. common health problems, what happens to the different systems as we age, etc)

Any ideas?

as with pediatrics, know the developmental accomplishments and tasks that are expected to occur at this stage of growth and development and problems that are likely to occur if those tasks are not met. here is a link to a website devoted to geriatrics:

They always ask about osteo prevention, age approp. medical tests ie mammo's, colonoscopys etc. Prostate issues, pain mgt, age approp. exercise, heart disease, menopause. Sometimes dementia and A.D.

Def. would ask about strokes, prevention and sx.

UTI's leading to urosepsis, pneumonias.
