I was an "A" student all through the nursing program. Under alot of stress took my boards. Failed with 265. I was at passing on every category. Just retook my boards on Friday. Got to 143 and the electricity kicked off. They got the computers back on and said that it would pick up were we left off. I answered #144 and the computer shut off. I thought it went pretty good. A little weird about the electric kicking off. I am afraid that messed me up. Anyways, called the 900# today for early results. It says that I was unsuccessful at Nclex. These are unofficial results. Do you all think there is anyway they could be wrong. Maybe it has me 1st results. I am stressing out here. I dont have a job, I just got Divorced and I have a 4 year old to support. Im going CRAZY! HELP!

Unfortunately they are not wrong. The reason they are called unofficial is it is the BON that issues the license

Ok, I can't even imagine how stressful that was!! :wtosts: Try to stay positive while you wait...keep yourself busy, do something fun, or do something nice for yourself. I am sure you passed, but is there a way to appeal if you didn't due to the electrical problem?? IDK, but I am praying for you...think positive & keep the faith!!:icon_hug:

Do you think that the electricity shuting off would have anything to do with the results.

It is hard to say, I am sure they will have some sort of back up/safeguard. Could express concerns to BON

Called the Kentucky BON. They are looking into it. Said they have had several computer glitches recently. Said that it may not make a difference. She requested a written statement of my concern and said that they would be in contact with pearson vue and would get back with me. Hope for the best!!!
