Hello Nurses, Please i need help. I applied for nclex last yr and didnt make it. I have been made eligible the second time by Vermont BON, but am still preparing myself by studying.But the last time i went thru the process alone, but now i dont think i really am ready to go thru the stress of having to get myself a visa and being refused and trying to re-schedule to sit in london and paying so much money for ticket,i cant go thru it again.I believe an agency will help with the necessary arrangement like getting the visa and accomodation,even though i might pay but it wont be as much as i had to pay going up and down by myself.So whats your advice please, i live in the bahamas now and miami is just 15mins away, but i need a visa and i have been refused b4, please connect me to an agency that is trustworthy, to help me with this bunch of stress am faced with.

I would concentrate on study and passing the exam before looking at whether to go direct or agency. With retrogression you are looking at a few years wait and going agency will not make any difference. The paperwork is the same and has to be completed by you, only difference with direct hire the lawyer for the hospital files unless you agree to pay the lawyer but still they sort out the paperwork and file. Things can not be filed without an employer

Yes that is what I am saying. Retrogression has been ongoing sice Oct 06 and we are seeing people with a date of before March 06 showing movement with their application. There is no way to shorten these years unless things change visa wise but again I can not see that happening. I would suggest a good read in retrogression and the threads on current bulletin and NVC update.
