hey everyone! so im a little confused on what to think. ive been dying to get into st. vincents school of nursing. i applied there, took the NET and gotten an interview! [woohoo!] ...okay so the interview didnt turn out the way i wanted it too. during the interview, my palms were so sweaty and i was just a nervous wreck im not that great with interviews but i am great with people! during our interview i was asked the questions, why would you like to be a nurse? ...tell me a little about yourself and why st vincents? well my answers were all over the place, i studdered my words!! i can not believe i did this! i had told her i was so happy to be here again & that i was nervous. she had said awe its okay, you did good. she had told me about the school, the classes to take and basically everything about the school but also made it seem like i was already in the school, but maybe im just overly thinking haha... then we just talked about her daughter and i for a while. i am so excited to start but dont even know whether i got in or not & i wont know until 3 months later! after i left, the interview was going over and over in my head! i realized i didnt say the things i really wanted to say! i dont know what to think /: ...any opinions!?

We are all critical of ourselves after an interview.
Consider a BRIEF letter thanking the interviewer for her time. Outline (even in bullet form) those things that were her key questions and the key things you want her to know. I.E.
Dear ?:
It was a pleasure meeting with you to discuss my applicaton to St. V.
I believe the program at St. V would be a great opportunity for me because:
??? list 2-3 things about the program that attracted you
??? list 1-2 things about you that reflects why you think the program is the right fit.
Close the letter (looking forward to hearing from your office in ??.)
You will have an opportunity to clearly review the key points. Be very sure your grammar and spelling are perfect!
I am sure you did better than you think - we all usually do!
Good Luck!
