Hello! Congratulations on getting in!! I've read some of your other posts... I can't believe you got Elmendorf as a new grad- Good luck!
I'm also a senior in nursing school and my application is going to the January boards (fingers crossed!!). The plan from my recruiter is to go to August COT and I'm hoping that's what will happen! So, I *could* be there with you. I'm just trying to stay calm until around February 5th when we're supposed to hear about acceptance. I say the sooner the better for a few of us to "get to know" each other before COT, it would definitely make me feel a little more comfortable going into it!
Oh this is awesome! I wish all of you the BEST of LUCK! I am already counting down the days till graduation (122 to be exact! lol). Where is everyone from (you don't have to be very specific if you don't want to be)? I'm from an area that is considered to be a suburb of Pittsburgh, PA. Please keep me/us posted when you find out more details about acceptance and your hopeful COT date. Where does everyone hope to be stationed?
bsnkaty: Elmendorf was an extreme SHOCK! I was told that 90% of the time new grads were restricted to the regular 48 states. Well.. I'm in that odd-ball 10% already. I guess thats my "Welcome" to military life. hehe
BSN Graduation date is May 15, 2010. I was thinking of taking a short weekend NCLEX review course offered by Kapplan prior to taking boards in June/July.
Wow I must have went through this whole process extremely early. It is Great to hear from everyone! Again, Good Luck To Everyone in their Senior Year (if applicable) and with your USAF applications!

Hey All,
I will be going to COT on 08/23/2010. Are there any other people going to be there at the same time? I know that I am very early in posting this but I'd rather be months early than 1 minute late.
I would just like to get to know someone in advance if possible.
