Advocating for each other

I had a fantastic day in my pediatrics clinical today thanks to one nurse!

I want to thank the pre-op nurse I spoke to, who didn't know me, who went through the extra effort to call the charge nurse in the PACU to ask if I could go observe my patient there, where floor students don't usually go. I had an amazing day and it was such a great experience! Thank you so much! You are right, we do have to advocate for each other!

Thank you to all the RN's who go out of their way to advocate for nursing students. It is VERY much appreciated and does not go unnoticed!
