Hello, RNs I know you survived in nursing school , you did it. But now I stuck in my second semester and need your advice.
I came through the first semester , struggled and passed but GPA is not OK. Now I am doing clinical but committed a mistake in clinical class and will seriously lower my grade, so possibly I am going to get a C or F.
I am wondering if I should retake it. Since this course is combined with lecture , I have to retake lecture if I withdraw this one. I really care about my GPA and I want to apply a master. But I don't know how bad if I quit this two courses and leave two"w" on transcript, or just accept the possible C, even F?
Does anybody else dropped classes when you studying at nursing program? Please, please give me some advices on this, I am so frustrated!!

I would have a serious discussion with the clinical instructor and ask him/her what your chances of recovery from this mistake are.
No way, I already did this. They have strict policy on this . They will deduct 10 points from my final grade after everything is finished. For example, if I made 90, I got 80, if I made 80, I failed. I have no confidence to make a 90 from clinical course.
