Adopt-a-Student Programs

Has anyone done it? Who qualifies and what do you need to qualify. What are the odds of being accepted into one of these programs. My CNA instructor is an RN in a Vegas Hospital as well and informed us that pretty much nobody gets turned down for this program so long as we can provide evidence that we are accepted/and or enrolled in an RN program at an approved school. Does anyone know if any of this is true? And, are there any of you planning to do this. If so where can we find information for this? TIA!
