ADN to MSN

Has anyone out there done a bridge program from associates to masters? What are some pros and cons? Do you wish you had a bachelors? Was it worth it? I am debating over whether to do a ADN to BSN or a ADN to MSN bridge next fall and looking for feedback. Thanks

From what I have heard, most hospitals like to see that BSN title on your resume. This is what I have heard from most schools that come to our school give us transfer information.

If you go through WGU, you earn your BSN first, then go on to earn your MSN next I believe. I did my RN to BSN at another school not far from my ASN school but I'm doing my BSN to MSN through WGU now. Had I known about WGU at the time, this is the route I would have taken...no questions asked!

Main point being, check out the schools you're interested in and you may find that you will graduate with both the BSN and MSN or just the MSN. It is very school dependent.

I do second the PP in that the BSN probably does look good to HR when they're sifting through stacks of applications. Good luck ;)
