Hello everyone,
I'm in need of some feedback.
I've been taking my prerequisites at a community college since 2013. Yes, I've been in school for about 4 years. Part time and full time off and on. Mainly due to working 2 jobs. I have finally got some stability with one job, thank you God.
My dilemma is that I applied to UTA's BSN program last year and was denied to a D in one of my classes that I later made up with a A. Since I was denied I decided to get into my community colleges nursing program. However, I look at the fact that I still have about 5 left to take for the ADN program. The time I go to apply to the program, it will be near the year I could apply to to UTA's program. I work at a hospital as a PCT and the hospital has a ADN program attached to my community college. If I go into that program, they pay for the program, books and I also sign a contract to work for them for 2 years.
I understand working at this same hospital I can have tuition reimbursement for working only 6 months. I know I could use that for my BSN, whether I take the ADN route or not.
So Im just need help with pros and cons. And some really good feedback before I make a decision.
