Is there anyone out there that can tell me opinions/ experiences between ADN, BSN, and RN-BSN prgrams and also in terms of level of difficulty? I kind of always wondered if ADN programs were more difficult than BSN programs because of the academic preparation and the time frame being ADN programs have a year or 2 less to prep you for boards....and how difficult are the RN-BSN programs? I was wondering if they were more lax because you've already passed your boards so that goal is out the window?

There is a whole entire board dedicated to this topic.
To answer your questions, I would go straight for the BSN. BSNs are becoming the preferred out of the three degrees (ADN, diploma, and BSN). I can't say for sure which is "more difficult" (I'm in a BSN program), but BSN's have more critical thinking built into the program with Leadership and more courses in Nursing Theory and evidence-based practice and research. People with BSNs typically have better chances at career advancement than their two year counterparts.
If you can afford to, I would go for the BSN. Hands down.
