You likely won't get many honest responses. I have heard similar stories, but the gist seemed to be that admissions was a mess but that once past that- smooth(er) sailing. I've heard great things about professors and advisors. Rumor has it that they are improving that. The advice I received was to simply stay on top of things, always follow up, and keep copies of everything.
Wise advice, no matter what you're doing.
You can get things done but it will be a lot of work if it is at all out of the ordinary (example: study abroad).
Financial Aid is absolutely horrible and you can always count on them to be late.
But, I feel considerably more capable and confident compared to many new nurses. Great professors! Try to get to know Conrad Gordon and Davenport.

Hey All,
I'm starting University of Maryland's Tradtional Program in the fall, and I was wondering about the quality of UMD's administration. I have been speaking with a few people and they give me the impression that UMD isn't very organized. I was curious if anyone else had any experiences (positive and negative) in their program.
Thanks
