ACLS Training

Why are there so few ACLS training sessions. Is this a possible business opportunity.

You mean in your own area?

I work just about every single weekend and some during the week, too. We do an ACLS class almost every weekend. Two-day classes, One-day recerts, ACLS EP, PALS. And, there are many TC's in my state doing the same thing. We have a very very busy schedule.

You may need to find one outside your area. We have students drive 2 and 3 hours to us for courses and we drive 2 and 3 hours to do course, too.

And, teaching ACLS is a business opportunity for many. We must be aligned with a TC (Training Center) and approved. There are many rules/regs/policies/procedures involved that are outlined by the AHA as well as the TC when providing this service.

There are certified instructors who roam around and teach classes in various facilities, but you would need to talk to AHA about requirements. We offer ACLS and PALS every month (alternating). What with several types of CPR, BTLS, TNCC, ENPC -------- that is all our schedule can handle.
