I plan on applying by the Feb. 16 deadline. Based on the decision timeline from other schools, it may take up to two months for you to receive feedback. Are you a post-bac. applicant?

Hi, I just wanted to say good luck! I apply in March for Fall 2012, but I'm already a mess. I am sooo nervous!

I got my acceptance letter a year in advance, Fall 2011. I'll be starting nursing clinicals this Fall 2012. :yeah:

Good luck everyone!

@Orthonurse2014, good luck and I didn't realize I didn't make myself clear for those applying to other schools:) I was told we should know by the end of March because I believe the deposit to hold our spot in the program has to be paid by mid April. Yes I am a post bac. Student. I'm a school teacher now. Are you a post bac applicant?

@MorteDiAmour, thank you and same to you. Im nervous too! I just want to know if I made it or not.

Capricorn, that is great news! Congratulations! Which school will you be attending?

Lola34 -- Good luck to you as well and I appreciate the info. regarding the decision date for the nursing program. Yes I'll be applying as a post-bac. applicant. AASU is the number one school on my list so I hope I get an acceptance letter. The application process is so "competitive" but I'm trying to stay optimistic. Did you receive your undergraduate degree from AASU?

No, I went to Touro College in New York City for my undergrad and Adelphi University for my masters. I've heard AASU is very competitive but I'm praying I will get an acceptance letter. Good luck!

Orthonurse2014, I see AASU changed the deadline to Feb. 17th. Hopefully they do not have as many applicants they anticipated on having. (Wishful thinking)

Lola34, I did notice two deadline dates. I applied yesterday (whew!). I don't know if it has always been a practice, but my guess is AASU decided to go with a 2-week application timeframe to narrow the pool of applicants. Nursing schools usually allow several months for students to submit applications. I, too, will be praying to get accepted.
