Accelerated Nursing Program

I just transferred to a 4-year university from a community college this past January. When I transferred I had planned on applying to nursing school, but realized that my grades were not all that good to apply. So I have decided to get a BSN in community health education, which I had planned on getting a minor in if i had gotten into nursing school. I have been doing some research on the accelerated BSN program. Can anyone let me know of the different schools that offer this program in any of the states. Also what are the preq. for the accelerated programs? Is the accelerated program much harder to get into then regular nursing school? Just trying to figure out options for nursing school. Any advice would be great. Thanks!

Check out http://www.allnursingschools.com. Very helpful - that's where I got all my information. Most of the schools listed have links directly to their sites; you can find out where and how they're accredited, what programs they offer, where they are, etc.

Good luck!

Thanks....that website helped a lot. I did not realize that there were so many schools that offered the accelerated nursing program.

That is exactly what I thought after I discovered that website! Glad it was helpful!
