Hello! I've posted something similar in other forums but NEVER GOT A REPLY...
Anyways, I am living currently in the San diego area and going back to a cc this upcoming fall semester to finish pre-reqs I will be taking 4 this round and then 3 the next round. Anybody have suggestions on which nursing schools are looking at the overall gpa rather than the gpa from the previous degree? I did not do to well because honestly I just wanted to finish. I intend to volunteer at Sharp and other volunteer programs as much as I can and work as well in order to keep money flow (that is if I get a job in this economy). Any other suggestions on what else I could do to look somewhat different than all the 489309238402983432 people who will be applying with me ???? I would like to stay here in California but if there are other schools please do not hesitate to mention them please!!!!!!

I'm the same thing..I'm looking at American university of health sciences in Long Beach. I checked online their passing rate is over 90%..I'm still hesitated because it's kinda a new school..don't know what to do..
Is this school acclerated? Long Beach is not bad. I would love to stay in California but I've heard so many bad things about how the acceptance rate in California is so low...but I would love NOT TO PAY OUT OF STATE fees..haha...could you send me more info? i couldn't see any on the site that was clear.
Yes it only takes 2 and a half years. pretty good. The acceptance rate here in CA is horrible..I have friends waited for 5 years...you can check out their website.. just google it..I found them on the BRN website, good luck!!
thanks. I wish you the best of luck. e-mail anytime if you just need to talk. [email protected]

AUHS is a 3 year program without prereqs, or two and half years for the actual program. It's CCNE accredited.
