abruption placenta

i really need help.. i have a presentation on abruption placenta and i am stuck on the complications. i have no idea how renal failure and pituitary necrosis have any link with abruption placenta.. please i really need help..

i have look through some of the links that you have given me and i really wanna thank you for it.. however.. i still did not manage to find any link with regards to how renal failure can affect abruption placenta. can anyone explain to me.

and for shock how does it affect the abruption placenta as well? does it like increase the bleeding or something??

I think you may be confusing shock and renal failure as causes of placental abruption. They are possible effects of an abruption (complications that may be experienced by a mother and/or baby who has suffered an abruption.

Just off the top of my head, when I think abruptio placentae, I think bleeding d/o. When I think bleeding d/o, I think DIC. When I think DIC, I think renal circulatory problems.

Pituitary necrosis does not really raise any flags for me right now, so I might have to look into it further, for my own knowledge!
