A difference between BN and BSN ?

Nurses General Nursing

Hi, all

I'd like to ask you a thing that is there any difference between Bachelor of nursing (BN) and Bachelor of Science nursing (BSN ) ?

Are they different as a degree level ?

Thanks for reading.

Where I am (Canada) both degree notations are equivalent.

A BS in Nursing, a BN and a BSN are generally equivalent. In most cases, the differences just arrive because of the traditions of the school and perhaps the title of the degree used by their accrediting agency at the time their program was established.

In the olden days -- several decades ago -- there were a few differences in curricula and the governance of programs within the university structure that influenced what the specific degrees were called. But over the years, those differences have faded considerably and in most cases, are ignored in today's society.
