A day in the life......

Good evening OB RNs!

I am a pre-nursing student and I was hoping that some of you could give me a bit of a day in the life of an OB nurse. The hospital in my hometown is small enough that labor and delivery, after delivery, and the nursery are all grouped together (no separate nurses for each aspect). I did a job shadow, but there was not much happening for the day that I was there. I got to see charting and vitals, (after delivery) but that was about it. Could someone tell me what types of things you do throughout your day? What do you do in the OR during a C-section, what types of things are you responsible for, what do you love about OB, what don't you love, ect.

Thanks SO much in advance!!!!
