A&P 1

I work full time and go to a community college to do prerequisites for the nursing program. I have the opportunity to do a 8-week A&P 1 class over the summer. What are the pros and cons of a 8-week A&P 1 class? Has anyone done one before while working full time? Thanks!

I worked full time last summer in a very high stress environment and took A&P I and II during 2 5 week sessions. I got A's in both. It can be done. You just have to spend all your free time studying. I made flash cards for everything and took notes about the same subject over and over. I had no life but it paid off.

Personally, I prefer shorter periods with less classes at a time. You can immerse yourself in the material and only focus on that. I absolutely loved the two-week intersessions at the first uni I went to.

I did A&P I in 8-weeks while doing ENGL 1301 in a simultaneous 8-week semester and working 30 hrs/wk. I got A's in both. It can def. be done. You can't be partially committed though. You have to go all-in, have no life, and study your butt off. I like the 8-week semesters. I'm doing it for A&P II right now.
