How to start APHRA for FILIPINO NURSES

Iam a regigstered nurse in Philippines and in Saudi Arabia, currently working here in saudi arabia as MALE NURSE / COMPANY NURSE.

I want to do the assessment for APHRA but I'm confused of these two terms.

As an International Registered / International Educated Nurse from Philippines, are we considered:

- Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse in APHRA

[h=1]IQNM: Criteria 1 - 8 for internationally qualified registered nurses[/h](http://www.nursingmidwiferyboard.gov.au/Registration-and-Endorsement/International/criteria-nurses.aspx)

[h=1]IQNM: Criteria 1 - 8 for internationally qualified enrolled nurses (also known as second level, vocational or practical nurse)[/h]http://www.nursingmidwiferyboard.gov.au/Registration-and-Endorsement/International/criteria-enrolled-nurses.aspx

- Is there a validity or period for the ELIGIBILITY LETTER from APHRA after assessement, for any circumstances that you were not able to find a university or institution for the BRIDGING PROGRAM.

It is unknown at this time due to new criteria. If you are an RN and were educated for that and have a nursing degree apply for RN t as you have never worked as an EN and AHPRA do not consider RN education suitable for EN registration. EN is a diploma course.

You apply as an RN, because that is what you are. Now, it doesn't mean that AHPRA will register you as an RN yet. If you passed the criteria, plus the bridging program, then yes. If not, then you have options to do some sort of conversion programs.

And yes, there is a time frame on the eligibility (based on what I've read).

It is known for a fact that the fee of the BRIDGING COURSE is not that easy, The reason why Iam asking if there is a validity or period for the ( LOE ) from APHRA is that I want to save for it financially. Thus, can I start my application for assessment in APHRA even when I'm not financially ready for the program?
