Trying to figure out if Walden's program would qualify for you to sit for APRN licensure in Texas. They are certified by CCNE - can't get ahold of the state board by phone and cant find anything on their site. The Walden rep said if they cant qualify students for licensure in the state then they wont accept students from there. Anyone have any issues in TX?

Ok heard back from ---- at AANP credentialing in Austin, TX. He said, "As long as the FNP program is accredited by either the CCNE or the NLNAC (now ACEN), then you are good. If you have any further questions please let me know." This is to me asking if clinical hours would count for Walden specifically. They are indeed accredited by CCNE - hope this helps everyone out. I know I'm not the only one with questions about the program.
