Earning potential for NP on Long Island, Ny

Looking into becoming a NP to further my career as a RN and was curious about NP salary figures and potential for NPs in New York. The only reason I ask is because as a current nurse in the ED on Long Island working 3-12hr shifts I'm earning $80k+ with 2 years experience and great benefits. Salary figures I've explored show average NP salaries at only ~$90K. I know thats an increase but come on the masters program is going to take 3 years full time and cost about $60K. If I'm going to invest that much time and effort I want it to make financial sense in the end. Any input would be beneficial. Thank you.
