is there a sole recognition program for acute mental health?

I was just thinking about how everyone jones for the "magnet" or "pathway" status at their hospital, yet is there one for mental health facilities?

    I don't know of any mental health-specific designations offhand...however, mental health facilities can go Magnet.

    most the magnet facilities i see is due to it being attached to a m/s floor.

    True. But freestanding psych facilities can apply for Magnet. I know of a couple who are in the process of doing so.
